This one is really nice, too.
We were told that Carston neede to come
home to have some surgery on his elbo.
He had apinched nerve and his hand and
arm kept going numb. The doctor said it
should be done soon to prevent loss of
feeling that might not come back if we
wated longer. So he came home in November.
It was nice to have him here for Thanksgiving.
When we found out that it would be 6 weeks
before tha doctor would give him a total release,
the mission president, President Glende,
Salt Lake Missionary Medical
made the decision to release Carston since it
was geeing so close to the end of his mission.
Carston wasn't too thrilled about it at first, but
after phone calls from his Preseident and talking with
President Watson, Salt Lake Missionary Medical and prayer,
he decided that moving on with his life was the right thing to do.
So, he spoke in our ward and we had a homecoming for him.
Then came baby Aisley born to Shanna and Jon. What a cutie!
Kinlee sure loves her baby sister. So do all of us.
Carston found the car he had always wanted
on KSL.He didn't think he could afford it until
we saw the price. We went to salt Lake the next day
to look at it and ended up driving it home. He needs
something beside our car to start dating Tiffany in.
Before he had his full release, he was offered a job
at Tarter Gate company, welding. Thanks to McKay
who brought the resume home for him. This is
perfect timing since he needed a job to finish paying
for his new red toy. He started working the last
week of December. He and Tiffany started to date
seriously. It's not really a surprise since they were
writing while he was on his mission. How life does
change is such a short time.
